Our company produces various types of products from high-strength steel HARDOX and STRENX. Working with these types of materials requires the presence of technologies in production that make it possible to process fairly hard steel and not change its structure during processing. Plasma, oxy-fuel and laser cutting on CNC machines
Processing on CNC thermal cutting machines ensures that the dimensions of the finished parts correspond to the drawing. When producing parts, technological methods are used to ensure minimal deformation and metal loss. Access to various types of cutting allows you to choose the technology that is optimal for a given thickness and grade.
Bending and rolling of parts of various sizes made of HARDOX steel
The equipment used for these types of processing must be significantly more powerful than for conventional steel. This requirement is due to the fact that high-strength steels have a high yield strength, which in turn requires significantly greater effort to deform the metal. On average, the force of bending equipment should be 3-4 times higher than for conventional structural steel of the same thickness and dimensions.
Traditional types of machining
These operations include: drilling, milling, turning on universal machines. It is also possible to use a machining center to obtain complex and precise contours of parts. When processing HARDOX steel, the equipment used and the method of securing the workpiece must provide greater rigidity. During the processing process we use modern tools designed for processing hard materials such as HARDOX.
